Lessons
The horsemanship classes
are taught at Dutch Meadows
Equine Facilitiy.
Classes consist of learning to
handle and manage horses,
understanding equipment,
riding and training horses,
and overall safety. Classes
can be taken as ongoing
lessons or as limited courses
and can be tailored for the
beginner or for the more
advanced rider. Private and
semi private lessons are

If you are a complete beginner, we
have classes designed to bring
you to proficiency with horses.
Starting with a survey of
equipment, terminology, and
techniques for handling horses,
the pace of the class will depend
on the student and every effort is
made to maintain safety and
facilitate understanding.
Students will be introduced to
handling horses and will develop
balance, style, control, and comfort
while learning to ride in a fun and
relaxed atmosphere. If you have
ever dreamed of getting into
horses but never knew where to
start, our classes are for you.
